About the event

CHEMCONNECT 2026 is a premier National level Industry Academia Conclave organized by the Centre of Excellence in Biodegradable Packaging Materials (CoE BioPack), IIT Madras, with the support of the Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals (DCPC), Government of India.

The event brings together the 18 Centres of Excellence established by the Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals (DCPC) across leading institutions in India, including IITs, CSIR laboratories, CIPET, and IRMRA, to showcase cutting-edge technologies and innovations in chemicals, petrochemicals, polymers, sustainable materials, packaging, recycling, specialty chemicals, and advanced manufacturing.

CHEMCONNECT 2026 aims to foster meaningful interactions between academia, industry, startups, MSMEs, investors, and government organizations to accelerate technology commercialization, licensing, collaborative research, and industrial adoption.
